ADORA SVITAK is a ten year old student and a teacher—since publishing her first book, Flying Fingers: Master the Tools of Learning Through the Joy of Writing, at age seven, Adora has travelled to three continents to teach writing classes. She reaches large audiences via her video conferencing workshops and through speaking engagements at libraries, universities, and national literacy conventions. Adora spreads the message that age should not be a limiting factor in our dreams of creative success or positive change, and she shares a child’s perspective on the techniques that have helped her on the path to achievement. Adora’s message is bolstered by the upcoming publication of her second book and by her own volunteer work—on a recent trip to Vietnam she raised 30,000 dollars to provide educational supplies to disadvantaged kids.
