Quilting Classes - FREE
In an effort to encourage some of your students to learn to quilt, I would like to offer a free 6 week quilt course to any of your students that are interested. We will concentrate on making a nine-patch quilt for their twin bed or a lap size quilt for the couch. This class will be geared for students between the ages of 12-18 with some basic sewing machine knowledge. Sewing machine basics can be taught in a separate class prior to the quilting class.

Students will need fabric and supplies (buy or bring from home). Students will receive a 30% off fabric or supplies bought at my store for class.

Quilting is a wonderful art and can be a very useful skill. A quilter uses math, learns color effect, sewing equipment use and much more! Classes will be held at Mary's Quilt and Fabric in Snohomish, Washington. The time and date of classes will be determined by the students schedules. Please have any interested group contact me.

Community Service Opportunity with Horses
We are a non-profit charity 501c3 organization whose sole purpose is to rescue and rehabilitate abused, abandoned or neglected horses in the King county area, ultimately adopting these amazing animals into forever loving homes.

We are in need of horse loving volunteers interested helping us care for the horses daily needs. I wanted to present this opportunity to your organization as you may have some high school students in need of community service hours from a qualified charity. I hope you are able to pass this onto the person in charge of listing these types of opportunities.

For more information about Serenity please visit our website at www.serenityequinerescue.com or email volunteer@serenityequinerescue.com . I would be happy to answer any questions as well. Michelle Cherewatenko HealthMax Incorporated 320 106th Ave NE Suite A Bellevue WA 98004
