I was wondering, can I take my son out of school before I file my declaration of intent? Or do I need to file the declaration of intent and then take him out?
Answer:
You can do them on the same day. I’d do it in whichever order makes the most logistic sense for driving: head to the district and file the Declaration of Intent, and then to the school to formally withdraw; or head to the school to withdraw, and then to the district to file the Intent.
