For a long time, I couldn’t figure out why so many people come to us in the late spring, wanting to homeschool. I’m pretty sure there’s a direct correlation with this:
Here’s what I want you to know, when someone you know starts asking about starting to homeschool in the spring:
They’re looking for permission.
They’re looking for someone to tell them they’re doing the right thing.
They’re looking for someone to tell them they can do it.
They’re looking for someone to tell them that they can’t mess up their kids any faster than the schools were.
Tell them this.
