Letter from the Chair
Dear Prospective Board Member:
We appreciate your interest in becoming a board member of the Washington Homeschool Organization. As board members, we have an opportunity to support and influence homeschooling in this state.
Board membership is a significant responsibility, and we want to make sure you are aware of the purposes and goals of WHO and what the investment is. Enclosed is information we hope will answer your basic questions.
- Requirements and Considerations for Prospective WHO Board Members
- WHO by-laws
Volunteering for the organization and attending board meetings is very important. This will give you an opportunity to meet the board and key volunteers, ask questions and observe how WHO operates. It will also allow you to judge whether board membership will work for you. After reading the enclosed, if you find that you would like to be considered for board membership, please complete and return the questionnaire.
Thank you again for your interest in WHO board membership. If you have any questions, please feel free to call or e-mail the WHO office or a board member.
