Parenting and Homeschooling
Parenting and homeschooling can become complicated due to the double role we have to play. It can be challenging to navigate the duality of the role and understand where being a teacher starts and ends. In addition, how do I discipline my children when they refuse to listen and do their work? A homeschool parent faces many other challenges, such as figuring out the best learning style for our children, caring for housework, and doubting our ability to teach our children. These challenges can be exhausting. Let’s discuss challenges and find ways to make things a bit easier.

We started to homeschool back in 2015 out of need. The public school system was failing my daughter, and there was a significant decline in her mental health. After much research and reflection on what we wanted for our children, we decided to homeschool. Homeschooling has been by far the best decision we have made. It has allowed us to focus on our children’s mental health and schooling.
