Hope Lutheran Classical Co-op

HLCC meets two days per week and intends to guide three essential components to homeschooling families 1) access to, and structure of, an excellent time-tested, classical curriculum, 2) Liturgical Lutheran Chapel, prayer & catechesis, God’s Word strengthens our faith and we believe we receive gifts when we attend to His Word in a community of believers, and 3) neuro-development exercises for children (6-13yo), these movements are thought to strengthen the connection between hemispheres of our brain thus increasing focus. These components are offered to strengthen faith, and our intellect with God’s Word in a community of Christian believers.”

West Plains Homeschool Co-op (Spokane area)

Medical Lake/Cheney/Airway Heights/surrounding West Plains area

We are an informal & free co-op open to all homeschool families living on the West Plains (outside Spokane). The group began in February 2014 to address the growing number of homeschooling families in the West Plains area that wished to join a group, but not drive to Spokane. We offer monthly art, science, & (about to start) music workshops, along with fun monthly events (Cultural Fairs, Nature Hikes, Mystery Workshops, Reader’s Theater, Art & Science Fairs, etc.) and various local field trips. At this time the workshops are split between a free church hall in Medical Lake and the Cheney library. It is a co-op, so families take turns helping host workshops or field trips, but there is no obligation. All workshops are adapted to all age groups: preschool up through teens, and are mainly social and fun, not using any one homeschool style. The Facebook group page is also used as a forum for local homeschool families to share advice, events, and support. We are an informal and free co-op to all homeschooling families in the West Plains area. It is inclusive and relies on volunteers to help organize one-time or ongoing events.
