Our Goal is to plan outings, field trips, and get togethers to provide the dreaded, S word (socialization) for our homeschooled children.

Boy Scout Troop 725

Boy Scout Troop 725 is a homeschool boy scout troop. The troop meets on Monday evenings in the Lea Hill area, a few minutes drive from Green River Community College. Meetings begin at 7:00 and end at 8:30.

Christian Homeschool Cub Scout Pack 201

Pack 201 was started in 1999 to serve families in the homeschooling community through scouting. Boys can join at age 7 or in 1st grade and up to age 11. Sisters are invited to join our “Keepers of the Faith” scouting program. Younger siblings participate in “Safari Scouts.” Families come from Carnation to Auburn to join our unique family scouting experience.

We currently meet as a Pack on the Third Thursday of the Month from September to May at 1:15pm – 3:30pm at the Foothills Baptist Church – 10120 Issaquah Hobart Road Southeast, Issaquah, WA 98027
Other Thursdays we have a den meeting, go on a hike or field trip, or perform a community service or conservation project. During the summer we go to Day Camp. Join us for scouting fun! Call or email to check on current meeting times & locations.

Classical Conversations of Burien

We meet on Thursdays from September through April. The program consists of Foundations (K4-6th grade),which meets from 9:10-12pm, Essentials (4th-6th grade), which meets from 1 pm-3 pm as well as middle program – 7th grade (Challenge A) which meets from 9-3:30. Additional middle and high school programs will he added in years to come.  We are a Christian Classical program where the goal is to equip parents to teach from a Biblical worldview in a classical model within their homes.

Middle and High School programs are a complete college preparatory program. Work at home 4 days per week and join together with peers and a trained parent tutor to discuss and practice together on the 5th day.  The parents remains the primary teacher from K-high school.

We meet on Mondays during the school year at St Lukes in Federal Way from 9:10 -3. The program consists of K4-6th grade. We are a Christian Classical program where the goal is to equip moms to teach from a Biblical worldview in a classical model within their homes.

Cub Scout Pack 450 – Foothills District of Chief Seattle Council, BSA

Serving Holy Family School, Terminal Park Elementary, Pioneer Elementary, Chinook Elementary, Gildo Rey Elementary and the surrounding home school community in south Auburn. We meet from September through June on Thursday evenings at 7:00 p.m. We accept boys who are age equivalent of 1st through 5th Grade. We have weekly den meetings, a monthly pack meeting and participate in a variety of outings such as camps, museum tours, sporting events, community outreach and service projects. Each year we host fun events such as the Pinewood Derby, Raingutter Regatta, Space Derby and Rocket Launch.

Cub Scout Pack 725

We are the Homeschool Cub Scout Pack 725 of Kent, WA in the Green River District of the Chief Seattle Council, BSA. We serve Kent area homeschoolers by meeting Tuesday afternoons at the St. James Episcopal Church, Kent. Gatherings include den meetings, field trips, pack meetings, service projects and special events. We accept new members throughout the year from interested families with boys ages 6 through 11.

The purpose of our group is to create a support network in our immediate area for homeschooling families of all kinds. We hope to host regular meetups for kids and parents to network and socialize. A goal of mine is to get local professionals in the area to join in and give us real life examples for occupational education.

Family Learning Program (FLP)

The Family Learning Program is a secular learning and community-building environment for homeschooling families in Seattle and beyond. Based in West Seattle and partnering with Seattle Parks and Recreation since 2010, our program offers a wide variety of classes, clubs, and community which complement diverse homeschooling methods. FLP serves over 70 families and and has become a unique, welcoming, and growing presence in the Seattle homeschool community.
Our teachers are highly qualified and enjoy working with families and motivated learners in mixed-age groupings. Class sizes are small, typically capping at 8-12 students. In addition to offering fee-based classes, the program is open to all to come play, socialize and connect with other homeschooling families. The free playground, open gym and seasonal activities are popular among all ages!

FLP meets on Tuesdays and Fridays, September-June, at the Southwest Teen Life Center, 2801 SW Thistle St., 98126.

Federal Way Homeschool Meetup

We are a Facebook based group of families that host events to meet our families social needs. We meet up at parks and are growing our activities to include more diverse options. We partner with Midgard Comics, Games & More, who hosts tabletop game days and are building activity days at the Federal Way library.

Girl Scouts 

Girl Scouts gives girls in K-12th grade access to life-changing experiences that inspire them to do something big. Each Girl Scout designs fun and challenging activities that empower her to discover her world and herself, connect with others, and take action to make the world a better place. Annual membership is only $15. Financial assistance is available for optional materials such as uniforms, books, workshops, etc.

I.M.P.A.C.T. Academy

IMPACT is a Christian co-op, offering classes for children ages birth through high school, with a particular goal of maintaining a high standard of academics in upper grades. This prepares our kids for whatever challenges they may encounter beyond high school. Spiritually, our goal is to provide an environment that fosters growth in faith through Christian-based teaching, weekly chapel time, and encouragement of a servant heart toward one another. Socially, we include activities such as outings, a few group class projects, plus additional special activities for high school, including an annual graduation ceremony, with the goal that students develop lasting friendships with one another. We meet in the Maple Valley area on Mondays throughout the school year.

Legacy Christian Homeschool Fellowship

Legacy Christian Homeschool Fellowship is a homeschool cooperative community, organized by grade level, serving parents and their students from K-12th grade. Legacy meets one day a week for 30 weeks, from September – May and is located in downtown Puyallup. We know how important it is to foster a love for learning and inspire students to pursue their God given talents. At Legacy, our programs are a balance of Christ centered academics and electives to meet your family’s needs and keep your kids invested in their education! We offer field trips, community service opportunities, moms’ fellowship and more!

Parrhesia Speech and Debate

Parrhesia (Greek: to Speak Boldly) is a WA State based club that offers both speech and debate coaching. It is a supportive and authentic club with a passion for changing the world for Christ through equipping our members to speak boldly for His cause. Our activities typically involve skill-building games, practicing speeches/mock debate rounds, and instruction on how to craft an effective speech/case. Overall, we not only improve ourselves, but also make life-long friendships and have fun along the way. We’re excited to welcome new members. We meet on Tuesdays in Renton, WA.

Park Day Friends (PDF)

We are a low key group of homeschoolers coming from diverse beliefs and styles who get together at parks for kids and parents to hangout every Thursday from 2pm-4pm. The park meetups are usually in Kent, Covington, or Renton, and occasionally in Maple Valley or Auburn. To join our Facebook Group, click the link below and request to join. Once you’ve joined our Facebook you’ll see all the local park meetups and can just pop in whenever it works for your family!

Rainier Homeschool Group

Rainier Homeschool Group is a cooperative group of homeschool families who come together to participate in classes, field trips, parties, and other activities. We hold weekly classes during the school year for homeschooled students ages 5-18, with a commitment to offer academic and elective classes. Younger siblings (ages 0-4) can also enjoy their day at co-op in classes designed to give them a positive experience in a classroom setting or in the nursery/toddler area. Regina Caeli Academy

Regina Caeli Academy assists homeschoolers by providing a classical, hybrid education support in the Catholic tradition. PreK3-12th-grade students attend Socratic, hands-on classes two days a week and homeschool on the remaining days following a provided lesson plan. Rooted Christian Co-op

Rooted Christian Co-op is an enrichment based cooperative located on the Kent/Covington border. We meet on Monday mornings during the traditional school year from 9-12. Rooted offers families the opportunity to supplement their homeschooling with academic enrichment classes and events. Joining this group also means becoming a member of a Christian community where families work together and are willing to serve with a spirit of unity, mutual respect, and cooperation.
